Our Collaborators

Author: Anna Mitchell

Grades Taught: 3rd, 4th, 5th
About Me:

I've been teaching for six years. I adore my job and am always looking for ways to improve my instruction in the classroom. I have quickly learned that when you make learning magical, that is when it truly sticks for the "long haul". I enjoy creating resources that bring learning to life in my classroom, and I am so excited to be able to offer a little piece of that to you here on this blog. Happy Teaching! :)

I have been teaching primary grades for the past 4 years. I love teaching, crafting and creating! Grades Taught: 2nd, 3rd, 4th
About Me:

I am a laid back, casual teacher. I quickly earn the respect of all my students by treating them fairly. I teach each day with love and laughter. I believe in student centered learning where the students are engaged in hands on activities. In my classroom I like to disguise learning as fun so we play lots of games! I believe that I am best able to meet the needs of my learners during center time. For most of the day I have my students work in differentiated centers either individually or in small groups. Students are then given the opportunity to work within their zone of proximal development while I can pull groups of students to work on specific skills.
